Receiving line

Handwritten instructions copied for legibility. The reverse was filed facing inward.

For any subsequent inventory, the door is to remain closed until both observers are in the corridor. Record the number of persons visible through the glass before opening. Do not use the number supplied by those inside; it has not agreed with the corridor count on any visit.

The facilities supervisor has requested a separate key for the room. The locksmith found no change in the lock or the keys already issued. His invoice lists labor for one visit and travel for two. The second departure time was entered by the night clerk, who states that the locksmith had not returned to the building.

The proposed receiving address was rejected by the records system because it matched the address of the annex. On resubmission, the room was entered as the receiving party. The submission was accepted. There is no field for the location from which the transfer originated.

DISPOSITION

One copy is to remain at the desk. The other is to be kept where the original was found. Neither copy is to be marked as the original.
